This book sets out to explain the basic ideas of Marxist philosophy which have become “common sense” through the application of new scientific and philosophical results. It also generates deep and systematic discussion of different perspecitves of great practical significance which were discussed but not fully explored by Marx. Further, it analyzes Western historical philosophy, postmodernism and the changes brought about by Derrida and others. Essentially, it reinterprets Marxist philosophy from an innovative philosophical perspecitve.
